We took a bike ride around a part of our town. It was pretty hilly, but fun. He took me on a back trail in order to avoid a large road uphill ride for the last part. Unfortunately, I ride a Cruiser, not a mountain bike like his. I was swaying and bumping all over the place. At one point, we both had to walk through very deep sand. It was exciting, but I was pretty bumped up and dirty afterward!

Yay, I finally rode my bike to the farm again this weekend. I’m heading to another U-Pick farm this afternoon to fill my freezer with fresh vegetables. I’m really getting into this whole farm fresh thing. The food tastes so much better when it’s local, fresh and organic. I can’t shop for any fruits or vegetables in the food store anymore. Today, I’m bringing some family along with me to introduce them to the farm fresh lifestyle.

After my run, see below, I picked Bambi up and took her for a quick ride on my bike. It felt good, but my arms were tingling, see below, and I felt like I couldn’t steer too well. Poor Bambi, she was wobbling around!

I rode my bike to the farm for our CSA and also completed the goal of at least 8 miles of exercise around the 8th of August! Chris rode with me which was nice. I looked at my calendar and noticed I haven’t rode my bike to the farm in almost a month for various reasons. So, I’m glad I got that in and I am looking forward to keeping that weekly ride a part of my schedule.

Rode my bike around my mom’s neighborhood. I have been totally slacking this week and have felt so tired. I’m staying at her house to watch her dogs for her (4 of them) and my Bambi is here too! They are insane, exhausting and keep me up at night. So, while I thought this would be a time to relax and catch up on sleep, I’m getting less here than at home! I hope I can get one good night of sleep before heading back home on Sunday night, otherwise I’m going to be one cranky person come Monday morning!
My weight loss has vanished it seems, I’m back up a few lbs, but I’m keeping positive. I’ll be on track starting on Monday and will not allow anyone, including myself, to get me off track… I just have to make sure I sleep well and long enough in order to keep up the intensity of workouts and healthy eating. Eventually, it’ll become a habit and my new lifestyle
