Short run with my hun

Chris is going to be my partner in crime, concerning my comeback to Fitness Nazi life! But my new name is the "FIT-NESI-NAZI" :)

I actually did pretty well this fall following a really great running plan and can you believe kept it up without missing a scheduled day for 5 weeks? Then I got really sick and that screwed me all up. It’s taken a few weeks to feel like normal again.

Well, now I’m back and while I feel like I’m starting from scratch, I guess I’m not really. Seven years ago when I started running, now that was from scratch. Right now, I’m kind of semi-homemade. I can’t wait until I’m the frozen dinner type :) All ready to go!

So, tonight was easy, except I was STARVING! So, we jogged a short 2 miles and then came home for a couscous and broccoli dinner. It was pretty darn tasty, although I’m hungry again.

Shhhh… we’re trying to eat less meat and more veggies! I’m thrilled Chris is involved this go around too. I’m looking forward to the local farm stands next spring for sure!

Welcome back to the grind! Might I ask what the “really great running plan” was? I’m struggling to find a really great one. Thanks much!

I’ll be honest, it was a few months ago I found it online. I don’t even remember! I know it was a popular one though - I want to say it was one of Hal Hidgon’s ones, or another well known person - http://www.halhigdon.com/? It was a 10k one that I likes - more minutes than miles which was nice to get my mind off of the stress of completing specific mileage.
